Cathedral Rock is the second most easy and popular trail hike in Mt. Charleston. As the Vegas Valley starts to get warmer, this is the perfect short hike to avoid the heat. Often, wildlife is seen into this area, especially early in the morning. When we reach the peak, we will enjoy great views of the Mt. Charleston Lodge and parts of Kyle Canyon. This is an easy trail to follow and no scrambling. The trail starts off steep, flattens out some before reaching the peak.
We may wander over to the top of the little falls rappel route and/or the bottom of the little falls rappel route.
